Prepare for failed connectivity
Keep UK emergency guidance available offline
Save what you need while networks work. Keep essential contacts and decisions on paper because a phone, router or mobile mast can fail.
Print the essentials
- Open the household plan and complete it before printing.
- Print the emergency-kit checklist.
- Print the guides for your local risks and any medical or access needs.
- Write utility numbers, local radio frequencies and nation-specific warning services on the paper copy.
- Store a copy with the kit and another with essential documents.
Save on a phone or computer
Use the browser’s Print command and choose Save as PDF where available. Give the file a clear date. Do not rely on one device or cloud account.
Use the compact route
The low-data guide contains essential actions, numbers and links without photographs or decorative media.
Review stored guidance
Check saved material at least every six months and after moving, changing medicines or equipment, or receiving updated government guidance. Replace stale documents rather than keeping conflicting copies.
