Choose a place everyone can reach safely if home cannot be entered.

Choose a place outside the neighbourhood in case the area is closed.
School, care and workplace arrangements
Record collection, reunification and closure procedures.
Utilities
Write provider contacts and safe shut-off locations.
Medical and accessibility support
List medicines, equipment, communication, mobility, care and backup contacts.
Animals
Record carriers, leads, food, medicines, veterinary contact and assistance-animal needs.
Two evacuation routes
Include a plan that does not depend on a private car.
Official information
Write local radio frequencies, council channels and nation-specific warning services.
Review triggers
Review after moving home, changing medication or equipment, changing school or care arrangements, and at least once a year. Practise a calm contact and exit drill with everyone who can take part.
